El Limón – a new church plant.
El Limón is a Kek’chi village in Petén that has been closed to the Gospel and has never had a church. One of our indigenous pastors, Pastor Mateo, has moved to this remote village to reach the unreached people in this community and plant a church. The first service was held in the open air on February 1, 2017. We have purchased a beautiful piece of property and the first and only church has been built in this Kek’chi village. However, the pastoral home is still a shell and needs some rooms. Other needs include a sound system and musical instruments for the church, bathroom facilities, and tile for the floors.
